Here’s what’s going on: Darrell is in the process of moving to Columbus, GA and Jamie has been fighting a flu bug for the past week. Suffice it to say, not a whole lot was done on the project recently.
Nevertheless, we’re going to start gearing back up again this week and lay out the next steps to take going forward.
We are looking for some victi…er…testers. We would love for more people to download the project, and give us some feedback. If for some reason you can’t get the download, let us know and we’ll see if we can work out another way to get the software to you.
Before we run madly off in all directions we’d like to make sure that there’s some method to our madness.
I just became aware of your project. I am a technology director for a school district in Michigan. We are gradually using more of these programs ourselves. I’m not a programmer, but have a lot amount of experience with training of teachers and students to use various software packages. So if you think I might be able to help in some way, let me know.
Have you considered Gimp? I also joined the facebook group.
Roger, Thanks for the offer. We are always eager to have more help on this project.
As for Gimp, it is already present on the first version of the CD. If you take a look at the programs on the disk list you will see it there. Even though we are including GIMP on the CD, we are actually leaning towards using Paint.Net in our tutorials rather than GIMP. The Paint.net interface is significantly easier to use even though it isn’t as powerful as GIMP.
