I consider yours a very smart slection of very useful software!

I’m not a computer-expert and nevertheless I want to make a proposal:

From time to time I use a “cleaning”-programm, removing “windows-garbage” from my computer. It is called “Sweepi” and found at http://www.yooapps.ch
After running this my pc is often faster than before. If you don’t have a very powerful computer this could be helpful and I think you don’t yet have selected such a kind of program.

Probably in addition an application like Ad-Aware 2007 (www.lavasoft.com) could also be useful.
