Well, I created a set of screen shots of the new installer on a screen shot page. I also spent a good bit of time figuring out how to get SVN working on my web host.
It’s all working now, and by the time I finish writing this post the current code base should be checked in. If you want to, you can check it out at: http://svn.missiondisk.com
And if you have just found this site and are wondering what the project is about, check out the about page.
Today was a work day for me. So I didn’t have a lot of time for updating this site. But I did accomplish a few things.
I got the about page set up and filled in a description of what this project is attempting to accomplish. Check it out and let me know what you think. As with any of my projects, feel free to critique the grammar, spelling, and layout. Feedback and corrections are welcome.
I also installed SVN to my hosting provider. So once I get the current code base uploaded, I can start setting up accounts for anyone who wants to help. The installer is functionally complete and just needs some style cleanup.
The main thing I will be needing are tutorials and help documents. SVN works relatively well with collaborative documents. So we should be able to use SVN to track the changes and organize the project.
Well, I’ve finally gotten the website for this project set up. Not a whole lot here yet, but I hope to put up more in the next few days.
I haven’t gotten a description or mission statement up yet, but I will soon. Meanwhile, you can read about this project in the blog post that kicked this off.
